Who we are

We make autonomy reliable.

Autonomous systems fail when the fundamentals aren't right. Main Street Autonomy exists to get those fundamentals right: sensor calibration and localization built for mission-critical demands of production deployment.

Our approach

One codebase. Any robot. No shortcuts.

We write software that works across different sensor configurations, platforms, and operating environments. No special cases.

General by design

A single codebase handles cameras, lidars, radars, IMUs, encoders, GNSS and/or INS across any platform. New sensors or robot configurations fit the same framework.

Calibration + localization

Pose accuracy starts with calibration accuracy. We build both, so the outputs of one directly inform the quality of the other — no seams, no handoff errors.

The basics, done right

Timestamps, time of validity, dropped sensor data, latency: we pay close attention to the little things that impact reliability.

Careers

We hire slowly and carefully.

If you've built something awesome in perception, calibration, or localization and want to work on problems that actually matter to deployed robots, we want to hear from you.

Send an explanation of what you've built to team@mainstreetautonomy.com.
